Poppies for Remembrance

I was reminded of the 5000 Poppies Project, when I heard an interview with Lyn Berry, on Radio National recently. Textile artist, Lyn started this project in conjunction with a colleague, in 2013, and it grew like topsy. The target of 5000 poppies was well and truly exceeded when the project was sent over 270,000 poppies: most from Australia, but many from all over the world.
