A christening quilt for the grandchild of a long-time client, was this delightful Australian Fauna quilt. The cute Australian critters were appliqued in multi-coloured fabrics, and I chose a simple, traditional customised approach to highlight the design. Another way to use the crocheted poppies I’m addicted to making, and using up some of the fabric stash. This was a Christmas gift made for a special friend, who appreciated it very much! There are still lots of poppies to use, which I plan to add to some repurposed linen fabric.
